It was a wonderful memorial parade. The New Orleans style jazz music was streamed by those on Spotify. Quiet reflections for the rest of us. The remembrance by [his brother] Chick and others he worked with was thoughtful, emotional and heartfelt. It totally expanded my understanding of how many people were touched by Joe, and how much he will be missed.
Joe Louis Wildman Memorial Caravan and Gathering

Memorial Gathering 3:15 p.m. @ Todd Grove Park Picnic Area (westside), 600 Live Oak St., Ukiah.
The family & friends of Joe Louis Wildman invite you to a Memorial Caravan & Gathering for Joe on Saturday April 24th.
Folks who want to participate in the “Joe’s Big Ass Van” Memorial Caravan should meet at the Alex Rorabaugh Recreation Center (ARRC) Parking Lot, 1640 South State Street at 2:45 p.m.
If you want to hear a soundtrack, “Joe’s Caravan Playlist” of music during the caravan you should load the Spotify app on your phone or iPad and bring it to the caravan. We will soon have a link for you to connect to.
When you arrive we will give you a picture of “Joe” for your back seat windows.
At 3:00 p.m., the Big Ass Van will lead you out of the parking lot on a route that will be given to you at the ARRC parking lot. The caravan should arrive at Todd Grove Park about 3:15 or so.
We, the NBLC, are also planning a recognition of Joe at our Workers Memorial Day Event. It’s currently planned for Sunday, April 25th, the day after the Big Ass Van caravan.
